I have replaced the 240V heating element on my RM6270 Caravan Fridge and having put it all back together noticed when testing that the Gas Ignition Neon wasn't flashing during the lighting cycle. I discovered that one of the legs of the neon lamp had snapped off. I have been unable to find a replacement lamp listed on the spares sites. I know its a 12v neon but where to find one without paying a fortune?
Hi yes I have checked the circuit and its run from the 12v supply. The Gas ignites correctly and the Piezo stops. its definately the lamp as one of the wire legs legs has snapped off
Hi Mark,I have been doing some trawling around the net for you and come up with the following:-
It is listed as item 484 on the exploded diagram but has no link to take it any further. However, I think it is an 'Indicator lamp, orange', Part No. IG10237.
There is a picture on the Inter-Spares website, (Try Googling the part number and it should come up) BUT they say it is no longer available.
Have a look and if it is what you want try ringing Leisureshop Direct, they may have one, worth a try.
Failing that, take it into a local Maplins and see what they can do to help.

Just been reading your post from a couple of years ago and wondered if you managed to get hold of replacement gas ignition bulb as I have the same problem. Just been trying to solder wire back on but no good. Need a new one.
