Has anyone had one of these lose its male central pin terminal?

The cooler is a few years old but has had only seven or eight light uses and has been looked after carefully.

I tried to use the unit at the last weekend and soon realised that there was no end pin on the plug!

There is no fuse, no spring and no end pin: they've all fallen out. Poor design.

Dometic don't reply to emails so before calling them (equally fruitless no doubt) I thought I'd post here.

Have seen what looks like a manufacturer replacement fuse at £18!!!

If you've been able to source a direct replacement I'd be pleased to hear before calling Dometic and probably buying a cheap new plug.

This replacement plug should do the trick. The U32 uses about 4 amps at 12v.

Thanks, Ian, I'd seen that. Screw terminals preferred as I don't have a soldering iron (though can solder, no probs).

I'm hoping for an FoC replacement from Dometic. Whilst I see no reason why I should pay for what seems to be their faulty part it occurs to me that perhaps someone saw the U32 and filched the gubbins but I don't recall it ever not working.
