Hi, ive just bought a Prestina airbeam awning. Ive opened it up to check everything is there and it is! as well as 2 light weight telescopic poles. They don't seem strong enough for a canopy etc, They are blunt at one end and pointed (like canopy pole at the other). Instruction are brief to say the least. Any idea what these could be for. Were off camping tomorrow so any guesses much appreciated. cheers John.

You should have 4 poles. Two thicker ones which are the rear poles to keep a better seal on your van and two thinner ones like you describe which are the canopy poles.

Ive checked the lising and there is no mention of any poles.my fig of 8 fixing hasnt turned up so i will have to use the straps over the van to attach awning. Hopefully we dont all blow away! I will look for sleeves etc when awning is up! Thanks for your help .
