Just got home after 3 weeks away, 8 nights near Sherwood Forest , Lurcher farm , 8 nights at bude ccc and 5 nights at Verwood ccc, throughly enjoyed all the sites but best of all was the vango varkala 280, our first time of using it and really liked it, found it so much easier than a conventional awning, like other people have said a bit heavy when feeding into awning rail but once that's done a absolute piece of cake to put up and seems a really well made awning, can't wait to use it again now on August bh weekend at Normans bay ccc

Glad you like!!!!! - Good to hear positive feedback on a Vango Air awning. We have just bought a Vango Kalari 420 air awning, we take it to France in a couple of weeks. Not seen many reviews, but the Vango Airbeam tents have good reviews so we are hoping the awnings will be a good bit of kit too.

We're on our second year with our 280 (2014 model) and it's been trouble free.

I sold our old 390 porch awning as we stopped using it.

We have a Motor Home....and 2 Vango air awnings. You cant beat the best to my mind. We have a big un...and a little un. We chose Vango for the self same reason as taneth 16....Vango had been making air beam tents for years. Watch your fly screen reminder tho....Fly screen ok on its own...as presumably its not raining, however the fly screen must be in situ when all closed up for the night....unless it is not going to rain. Enjoy your acquisitions...they are the bees knees.

Hi all. My tourer is on a seasonal pitch. I sometimes dont visit the van for 3 weeks. Im worried if i bought an air awning it will lose some air pressure making it unstable ? Has anyone any experience of this or able to share aby opinion ? Thanks all.
