Has anyone bought an Outdoor Revolution Compact Air 420 and found that the instructions are pathetic. We have just tried out our new purchase in the driveway and had to ring both Outdoor Revolution (everyone in the know was away)and the dealer (very helpful)to find out what certain tapes and hangers inside were for. There were no explanations in the instructions.
When we came to repack it we tried every which way to get it to fit back in the original bag due to the large size and eventually had to resort to using a giant bag which we happen to own to fit it in. Their instruction of folding into a sausage shape and rolling up is obviously for a much smaller awning and is impractical on this 420.
The design and look of the awning are both excellent and we are delighted with the fast erection but the lack of information and the repacking problem is a complete let down. We even got more help in repacking from a Kampa video. Come on Outdoor Revolution provide buyers with better information and instructions and even a decent video.
