Senior moment on site this morning. SWMBO checking the lights as we hook up - normal rear lights - check, brake lights-check, indicator lhs - check, indicator rhs - check, reverse - check - hazards - check.
Breakaway cable connected, lids down, steadies up you should be good to go??
Both of us ignored the bright orange thing with the words NEMESIS in black letters written on it.
Pulled forward about a foot and then ground to a halt. Locking orange plate not parallel with wheel any more, its slightly off by about 10 degrees.
Now we can't get the damn thing off even with the key.
Lock turns on and off but off the damn thing will not come.
Result 'van still on site.
Will call Purple line tomorrow to see how they've got around this when other peeps have had 'village idiot' syndrome, but generally hope there is an easy way out!
Any ideas as to likely outcome chaps? Anyone done the same thing?
I've just Googled Nemesis wheel clamp and none of them look hard to remove with a decent angle grinder. If you have 16A power then it should not be hard to make a few cuts and remove it in pieces.
Once you get access to the wheel nuts you can take off the wheel and work from the back as well.
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.
On a previous post re toe rags trying to nick my van I ended up grinding my Nemesis off. Took half a dozen discs but left the locking nut in the wheel. Getting the receiver lock out of the wheel was the hardest bit.
I have a brand new, unused full stop nemesis ultra wheel clamp gathering dust - got one for free when purchasing our caravan recently. It's unused as we also have a Alko wheel lock so use that instead.
Not got around to sticking it on eBay as yet. Let me know if you are interested.

Thought to myself darkly :-
kid from the dark side for a few quid 🙄
That idea of ‘kid from the dark side for a few quid’ reminds me that I heard the story of a Vicar visiting a Young Offenders Institute. After an afternoon tasking to many of the prisoners and taking a service in the chapel he went out to his car and saw his car key in the ignition of the locked car.
The Governor of the YOI said “that’s no problem vicar” and sent someone to find a young offender who was in for stealing cars. Very quickly several of the inmates were brought out to the car (under escort of course). They agreed that one of them was the expert and could get into the car quickest and thus let the vicar get on his way.
The ‘expert’ quickly picked up a rock, smashed a window, opened the door, and smiled at the vicar.

You dont need a kid from the dark side, just arrive at the storage without the key and tool to remove it but an everyday toolkit, and you will soon have it off.
I think i had the wrong career choices, i think i would have done well joining the darkside.
Although the thought of taking something from someone because they worked harder than me or were just luckier than me does not go down well with my thoughts.
My thoughts on what to do with these people are also on the extreme side.
Hello. We have a similar predicament to yours with the nemesis wheel lock. Can you advise which part you angle grind to remove it please?!
Thanks so much
david8858 is still around, so hopefully will see this.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Not sure whether you will get an answer as the post you have responded to is 6 years old.
Plus not a good idea to post work arounds on security locks on an open forum.
