Hi I've bought a 2000 model Abbey County Oxford caravan and am fixing a few of the problems on it. Previous owner wasn't good with electrics so a bit of work to do.
Got most things working but cannot get the Omnivent working. I presume there must be a fuse for this somewhere but can't find this. I've checked all the connections and it seems ok.
Before I strip it all out to try and test, I'd like to check the fuse.
The van has a rack of blade fuses on the inner forward bulkhead but these are for the exterior lights and fridge.
There is also a row of trippable CBs for the ESM but these are all on.
Thanks for any help, I'd like to get this working.
The Omnivent should run on 12 volts DC so there may be a blade fuse for it in with the rest, the MCBs are usally for mains equipment. The bearings on the motor have a tendency to stick so if you can, see if the fan blades turn free by hand.

There should be a gang of 12 volt fuses somewhere near to the RCD circuit board which you will most probably find the corresponding fuse for the omnivent there.
On our Abbey 2007 model the 15amp blade fuse is in the 12v gang as mentioned.
Many years ago when our fuse blew seem to remember reading in the handbook that if when switching on fan if you put it straight on 2 rather than 1 the fuse will blow!!
