We have finally got round to using a long bit of waste pipe for serviced pitches, and quite keen to have a go at the fresh water ones. I might sound a bit dim, but how does this connect to the outside tap? The adapter kits ive been looking at come with different size threads, but I dont recall seeing threaded taps on serviced pitches before. How do you get it to stay on if not threaded?
There are kits of fittings for the various tap/thread sizes available on-line and quite cheaply, often the activating ballcock valve will come with them. The water pressure (especially in France)has a tendency blow the push-on type off too easily so a threaded one is best.

------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you on experience.
Mark Twain.
Every serviced pitch we have been on has a threaded tap.
