Yes this really is about spare parts for tent pegs!!! I have several hard ground pegs, the ones that look like huge nails, that the plastic hook bit is broken. My question is can you get replacement parts anywhere?

The answer is NO because I have tried myself and I couldn't find any outlet that sells them so I posted the same question on this forum. The response was to buy the fixing blocks which are cheap and just have to drill the centre hole out the same diameter as the tent peg.
I did just that and it works better than the original plastic blocks plus for the price I now keep a few spares handy.

Don't know if you can get "original equipment" replacements, but an inexpensive option is to use the centre hole (may need enlarging slightly depending on peg diameter) of Joining Blocks or Modesty Blocks as used inside some furniture items, like these, for instance.

I've used plastic Dowty roofing washers, even better are those with a metal insert, they do the same job and won't ever break plus are considerably cheaper.

Search for "Baz Washers" (From Industrial Roofing/Cladding suppliers).

An example Here..., merely for reference. (I get mine for now't, through work).

Perfect fit on the 8" nails (Hard ground pegs) so push on, and no sliding off. Ideally leave a gap between washer & nail head for the claw hammer to extract. Simply loop the guy below the washer. Superb!
