PLEASE can you help?! We have an Erde trailer (121 I think) with a hard plastic lid. We'd very much like to take four bikes away with us this year, the children are on large bikes, almost adult size. Is there a way of doing this please? (We can't have a roof rack for the car as we have a full glass roof.) I've seen people with some kind of carrier on top of the trailer but am unsure where to start finding out if this would work for us?!
ANY help gratefully received!!! Thanks in advance. :-)

------------- Very green at camping but full of enthusiasm!!!! :OP
Yes, the maxxraxx will work fine ... we've used one for years ... firstly with a trailer.
You can put hoops onto your Erde 122, then bike carriers attached to them ... but, beware that the 122 can only carry two bikes (I made the mistake of carrying three, some years ago, and the pin hinge link for tilting snapped whilst we were climbing a mountain in the Rhone-Alpes ... luckily not much damage ... but Halfords, who had sold us the trailer, initially refused to fix it as they said: "You were carrying three bikes, and it's only capable of two, max." When I pointed out that they had fitted the three bike carriers, they quickly back-peddled, and fixed it for us).
So, you could split two and two ... or all four on a maxxraxx ... but you'd need to check on the total weight of the bikes and the maxxraxx to get a tow ball weight, check that your tow ball can take that when added to the tow bar weight of the trailer.
If you phone maxxraxx they are extremely helpful.
