Hi. I have had my Mobilcool TC25 thermo-electric cooler for a few years now. The fan part is becoming gunged up with dust, fluff and dog hairs. Hoovering the fan through the grill is ineffective. Has anyone any experience of dismantling the top to get at the fan to clean it? Anyone got any tips please? Ta!

Blast some compressed air through it, usually gets rid of dry stuff. Other than that you'll have to strip down.

Thanks fleck2 - I was trying to avoid taking the lid to bits (which will obviously be the most effective way) unless someone can tell me how to do that.

Compressed air didn't do it, so stripping down it was. My main worry was that the thin foam seal around the top groove was stuck down and would tear on removal. In the event it wasn't and removal gave access to the 7 screws holding the lid together. Once undone it gave access to the fan blade which I cleaned with a brush. Job done! Hope this helps anyone with a similar problem.
