Advice needed please:
We have an Outwell Phoenix 4 and have encountered the first split in one of the poles. Have made an emergency gaffer tape repair as going camping at wknd. Cant seem to get it repaired in time locally. I think the poles are 11mm (the split one) and 12.7mm for this kit. Never repaired poles before, if I had the right tools is it really difficult? Also, is Durawrap same as Duratec? Seems to be the only spare Outwell poles are Durawrap at 30 quid a pop.

It's very straightforward. Here's a vid: link. I use a Klippit rather than a safety pin to hold the elastic.
