Hi, I have a Kampa 3 burner camping cooker which we are using with a 4.5kg butane bottle which is well over half full. We bought a 1.0kg/hr regulator from Go Outdoors as it was recommended for our bottle size. Basically the gas flow is so slow that it takes ages for a small kettle to boil and it's getting to the point that it's pretty annoying. I've tried researching myself and wherever you look the advice is different. Should we have bought a 1.3 or 1.5kg/hr regulator instead? Advice please. Thank you.

I would go for the highest flow rate, it has nothing to do with bottle size and everything to do with what you are supplying the gas to! A quick check of 4.5 kg regulators on e-bay shows almost all to be 1.5kg/hr.

It'll do a trip

Hi,
Thank you very much for your prompt helpful reply . I'll order a 1.5kg/hr regulator tomorrow.
Best wishes. Tracey
