After some tricky ebaying I have bought 2 awnings.

One a Isabella and the other Dorema

I have not put them up yet but, was is very noticeable is the weight difference of the canvas

There is no question the Isabella is much heavier than the Dorema and I can only assume this is to do with the quality difference or one all season and the other summer.

I can report, the poles are heavy on both

It all depends as to what material the awnings are made from as our Dorema made from Polyester is much heavier than what our Bradcot was made from Acrylic.
Most likely the Isabella is made from Polyester and the Dorema from Acrylic thus the weight difference between the two. Although the Acrylic awning is more breathable and lighter it's quite not as warm as the Polyester awning.

The Isabella is the best quality by a mile an half

provided its not damaged etc
