I have just got a 2012 Coachman Pastiche. When I picked it up my fully charged battery from my old van was installed. All switches and the alarm were off and the radio front removed, but the battery was discharged in less than six weeks.
My battery was checked by the Coachman dealer and it passed their test.
What is the expected life of the alarm battery, can the alarm be switched off, or should the battery be removed?
I'm sure that isn't normal, perhaps there is another switch somewhere that isn't turned off, perhaps an addition to the original spec. The aerial booster isn't still powered up when you turn off the power switch is it? Just check the LED goes out.
