Hi
I wonder if someone can help with this.....
We want to buy a Kampa Air awning for our Abbey Safari/Vogue 495.
However not sure if 330 or 390 awning will be best fit around lockers etc.
Does anyone have the Abbey (or similar van) and can tell me:
- the gap between the two side lockers and/or
- the length of the straight awning rail?
Ours is in storage 150 miles away so can't measure myself.
Thank you!

Im sorry that we dont have an Abbey caravan like yours for a true comparison, but we have a Kampa Rally 390 Air on our 462 Elddis, and it makes a full sized awning, with the front beam just parallel with the first curve of the slope on the roof.
TBH, we are thinking of selling it due to the sheer weight of having to pull and lift it complete with its airbeams through the channel all in one go. My husband is elderly and suffers with back problems and im disabled myself, so we find it a bit of a struggle to handle without help from another adult.
We have the Kampa Rally Air 390 2016, in the two tone grey colour, apparently the latest models are even heavier, something to consider before buying.

Thanks for the reply Julia. I got a good deal on a 390 so I've just gone for it. Will test it out when we next use the van on May bank holiday. The worst case scenario is that we won't be able to access the side locker but I'm sure we can find a way around that. If not can always just put it back on ebay and get the 330.
£440 for used 2017 model on eBay.
Cheapest I’ve seen new was £630.
Seen used 2016 model go for between £375 and £441.
Seemed less of used 330 awnings about so were actually more expensive second hand.
