I had problems pulling out pegs in dry weather even with a peg puller. We now use the pegs with screws on, you hammer them in then use a cordless drill with an adapter to screw them out. Its really easy. Saves all the backbreaking work of all the tugging.

We get ours from Kimberley caravans but you can get them from Amazon too.

I've got one of these devices:
https://www.towsure.com/leisurewize-peg-mate?gclid=CjwKCAjw4PHZBRA-EiwAAas4ZpMwUx03DCT4cUV82h31tUHdvbChMwFOmXf6Re-XwiURpTRLUOxoaBoCG4EQAvD_BwE

Its telescopic, so you can walk round, and pull from a standing position which is a lot less tiring, especially with a full awning
