Hi all, of course we went camping during the only terrible weather in the UK for months!

had to abandon due to high winds but not before one of my tent poles split!

Its a 15mm x 650mm fibre glass pole from a VANGO ORAVA600XL tent. To my disgust, after contacting Vango they have informed me that they don't stock replacement 15mm poles.

Ebay and internet search hasn't turned up anything either.

Does anyone have any ideas?

By the way, no way will I buy another tent from Vango if they can't even be bothered to stock replacement po0les.

Absolutely. They'll even confirm it on the Vango website; the first three poles on either side are 15mm (presumably for strength). The middle five poles (eleven sections per complete pole) are 12.7mm (presumably so they can bend more).
