What do other tent users use to hang up those small damp/wet items? For years we've pegged towels/flannels/teatowels & smalls on the guy ropes or from a hinge joint on a folding table. We notice some sites don't allow laundry lines.
We don't want to hang items up inside the tent. Any other options apart from those freestanding whirlygigs?

we used to use one of these & folds flat for travelling so takes up minimal space https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-deluxe-clothes-airer-14m/p/0107006

Can be lifted into tent of an evening easily if weather looks iffy.

If you have the double guy lines on your tents (the ones with the 'O' rings) then you can run some spare guyrope through those as a low clothes line. You can do the same higher up using something like clingons clamped to the guy rope then run spare rope through those - but over time that will wear your guys so you'll need to replace them a little more often.

If you have a side porch then depending on the layout of your tent you can run a rope from the front pole of the porch to the front pole of the tent (or a closer pole for a shorter line)

We use guylines and a rope from our trailer to our tent or even a tree. See what other people have done on the site. Yes, I know some sites say no lines but if others do then we do.

Some sites have washing lines you need to ask. A couple I have been to have massive ones that I have put a whole wash onto and had space for my damp beach towels (5) and space left only 1/3 space used. Perhaps not your best lingerie or football shirts if away from your tent.

At sites in England we go for a week and I usually wash the shower/washing towels, couple of bits of underwear/socks and dirty clothes (the food dropped down it or went in the sea/pond wearing shorts but not swimming ones or the t-shirt that each child has been wearing for 3 days even though they have enough spare!!)
