Outdoor Revolution have items they call a "Lounge Liner".
From what I can see it's a fabric liner that fits just below the tent ceiling and is supposed to help keep the interior temperature cooler in the heat.
Just wondered if anyone has one of these and if they thought they actual work?
If fitted to an Ozone 6.0XTR, do they cover the skylight in that tent?
We had one in our old TT awning. It made quite a difference. On a sunny day if you put your hand between it and the awning roof it was possible to feel quite a difference in temperature with the living area of the awning. It also stopped condensation forming on the inside of the awning roof during the night.
Can't help with this specific brand, but we had an (internal) polycotton roof liner that covered the living area of our polycotton Kampa Filey 6 Classic a few years back.
I'm tempted to say the difference, when compared to a polyester tent with no roof liner, on a neighbouring pitch in mid-20c temps, was of almost epic proportions... for the good, I hasten to add!
It also seemed to make things a little warmer in there, in cooler temps.
Regardless of materials, that air in the gap between the two layers does act as insulation, when all said and done.
*Our tent did have an off-white "roof light panel", which was negated by the darker, greyer roof liner, which of course made a difference to light levels, but we personally didn't see that as a negative.
