Hello - I am trying to buy two new sleeping bags for my two and four year old. We are off camping next month.
Does anyone have any experience of the Vango Kanto or Sprayway Comfort junior bags? If you do I would love to hear from you. It seems very hard to find any reviews about them online.
A friend passed on to me a junior bag which our little ones used in turn. They outgrew it at about age 4 (don't know the brand or sizing). I then bought cheapy mummy bags for the children to use. This is as we camp in the summer warm months and our family has nose bleeds so the sleeping bags need to be able to be washed on a site.
If you are at all worried about 'losing' your little one down a sleeping bag you can fold the 'too long bit' under them tie it up with string/rope or even sew it.
If our children start backpacking/camping they will get a better sleeping bag.
I was advised (when our children were younger) not to bother with junior sleeping bags but just buy adult ones and tie cord tightly around just below where their feet come. As they grow you can just move the cord down. Made sense to me. They grow so fast you won’t get many trips out of a junior one.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
