Hi I have just bought a Cadac Grillo Chef and need some advice please. I followed Gasgrills instructions for cooking a pizza on a pizza stone...Needless to say even before I added the pizza the stone had shattered.Can anyone confirm that I need to use the drip pan with the bbq grid on top followed by the stones rack then the stone..I have just bought another pizza stone and don’t want it to happen again- Cadac weren’t very helpful

We put the cold pizza stone on the bbq grill plate, but don’t bother with the pizza stone rack. It does need to go onto a cold bbq & heat up, rather than putting on a pre-heated surface.
