Got a Combicool fridge so we could use it off-grid with gas. However the regulator I got came with just a plain hose. Having looked at a video on YouTube it seems that you need an additional connector to screw into the back of the fridge itself. This came with neither the fridge or the regulator. Can someone point me in the right direction as to which one I need?

Is this a new fridge? because our 3-way Dometic fridge came with a Fulham type fitting already protruding from out of the back panel (as opposed to being screwed onto/into a protruding threaded fitting).
There was a thread not long ago(possible on a different forum?) where a chap had bought a Dometic camping fridge in Germany a few years back-had always used it on electric-and when he wanted to use it on gas, he had trouble finding the correct fitting in the UK.
I turned out that on his, he needed to get the specific Dometic hose from Germany.
Not saying this will be the case with yours, just something the keep in mind..
I did briefly toy with fitting a 90degree fitting to the rear of our fridge(as it is, the Fulham fitting protrudes the hose out quite a way) but when I looked, it wasn't just a case of unscrewing the fitting(and inserting an elbow), it would entail removing the back casing panel, the edges of which were retained under the top panel assembly. Possibly all "do-able", if in the mood for such a thing..but I just decided to leave it alone ( and there'd still be no guarantee that the thread-end of the "Fulham" fitting wasn't another non-UK fitting anyway!)
So if you can just get(or source) the "proper" hose from the seller, one that'd just wind straight in, and then just alter the non-fridge end of that if needs be, then that sounds by far the easiest.
Just to clarify what I recall from that other thread I mentioned, this chap said that he had drawn a blank when "contacting Dometic" (what or who, he meant by that exactly, I've no idea),as they "wouldn't sell him one" or even tell him what the item was that he required!..
I found that a bit strange to be honest..but I've always found that to get the correct answer, you need to have asked the right dept/people to start with, and maybe "Dometic in the Uk" just don't/won't deal with such things?
Thanks all, I ordered a gas hose from a German camping store and a new regulator as well so hopefully that works. Never realised how many differences there were between camping appliances in different countries!
