Hi. I've just booked a Superior Pitch for 2 weeks in the autumn. I know this will mean water will be there. But will I need my own hose to connect to the caravan? Is there anything else I need to think about? (We've only ever used Standard pitches in the past and relied on site toilets and showers but with Covid we wanted to have a Superior in case we needed to use our own shower.)
Super pitch usually means you get hookup electric, on pitch water and a drain.
Electric hookup is just as per normal.
Water on pitch can just be filled from the tap but usually people take advantage of the personal tap by connecting hose to the waterhog. you can get a valve attachment that means you connect the tap and leave it on so you have permanent water supply. Something like:
For the drain you need grey waste pipe and a brick. Run the hose from the outlet on the van into the grid and put a brick on the end to stop it moving! You may need a two to one adapter as well for caravan connection.

Check with the site what is provided. Usually you need what has been described above but we have been on one site where their Premium pitch includes all the connections you need. You just bring your pump and they have a connected aquaroll and waste system waiting for you. They also have serviced pitches which have water and waste but you bring your own kit.
