Hello we are looking to buy some storage cupboards etc for our awning and have narrowed it down to Kampa or Hi Gear and just wanted to know what you would recommend?
They look identical to each other even down to the sizes but Hi Gear Storage seems to be half the price.
Sad fact of life, most of this sort of gear is sourced from China and is a 'standard' design, it appears under countless brands without necessarily varying in quality or design features. Kampa is a highly reputable 'premium' brand, Hi-Gear is Go-Outdoors/Millets/Blacks house brand, that said, they offer a lot of perfectly adequate and functional equipment.
I have Hi-Gear stuff and have no issues with price versus quality. I also have a Kampa stuff and can't find much fault albeit at a price.
