Hoping someone can advise me on this, I have an Autoquest 115 MH and have been looking to purchase a drive away awning,
My local dealer has a Vango Cruz Tall in stock and advised that this would be suitable for my vehicle , however it does seem a little deep and my concern is it will be too big for a lot of campsite pitches,
Question is can you erect without fully extending if need be due to pitch / space restrictions?
You say that the awning is a little deep but what depth are you referring to exactly?
This will of course help in achieving some answers in respect of the total size of pitch width.
If you pitch the drive away awning length ways on the pitch and then drive the MH at right angles (90 degrees) to it there shouldn't be a problem as a standard pitch width is around 11 metres which I presume is longer than the MH. The size of 420 cms. is a bit vague so a bit more info would help.
Looking at pics, you may be able to not inflate the front tube, and just roll back the open canopy section to the inner wall.
This would reduce the depth to c. 340cm.
Pure guess work, I might add!
Can't see you getting any less than that, without having very saggy/flappy material?
