I'm still trying to figure out Plan B 😬!

The price of every model in the Anssems GT and GTB range is rocketing! The GT750.201 HT we bought last year has also increased in price by £500 (we paid £1295 including spare wheel and carrier, price now is £1695 plus around another £100 for spare plus carrier).

Since we have to buy all kit again, I've noticed other camping stuff has increased in price by some 30% or so. Must be because most of it is imported?

World's gone nuts!

P.S. I sold our trailer last year for £900 when it was just a month old. Lost £400. Looks like it would now be worth more than the £1295 I paid!

I think it's the same with price increases on tents, campers and caravans etc. It seems to be across the board.

I suspect the Anssems increase is due to Brexit/import duties and the worldwide steel shortage. I wonder if prices will come back down again once the dust settles, or if these higher prices will remain?

I feel your pain Lidds, the 181 VT1 was also £500 more than it was in May.

Those two 201’s that sold used on eBay went for only a few hundred less than the current new prices, so the inflation has already filtered to the used market.

Hard to say if this is a bubble caused by Brexit / covid induced shortages / the rise in demand due to staycations.

Just stumbled across this thread. Did you guys manage to get the trailer in the end? Any other decent hitch locks available now? We bought our GT750 211 VT1 for £750 3-4 years ago, it was a steal!
