Hi just been out to my first none electric campsite so first time connecting the domectic fridge RM8550 upto gas instead of electric and it is repeatedly turning itself off. It comes on and runs for about 30 minutes then simply turns its self off for no obvious reason. If anyone can offer some advice I'd really appreciate it. It's fallen just outside its warranty period and I'm going to a 5 day festival next week so I'm pretty sure no repair person will be able to look at it within the next two days I'm open to trying anything at this point. Can we assume that your gas bottle is not just about to run out and that your battery is fully charged?

Yes full we have 2 that we're filled last week but changed them over and let them run to ensure no air bubbles etc. When using the cooker the gas is fine. So specifically only when using the fridge

We had that - the gas burner on the fridge needed replacement. Seemed to be a known issue with this model, and ours was only just out of warranty.

We used a plumber who is registered to do bottled gas, and it was beyond just getting it cleaned, and quicker/easier to replace. About £75 for the parts i think.
