As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Saw them (or something VERY similar) on a stand at a classic car show last month, looked and sounded good from a technical and effectiveness point of view, BUT the chap next to me asked about UK approvals and it didn't have any, we both lost interest at that point! Seems to be approved in a number of other countries, but not here, now that may not be a problem or a concern unless your insurer and I believe some camp sites insist on a type approved extinguisher! Doubt anyone is going to check prior to use, but maybe an insurer after a fire checking what efforts made to put out a fire, and almost certainly denying cover for damage/loss if not recognised approved extinguisher used.
Certainly looks good, and if they are half as effective as they claim I'd certainly have one, UK approved or not. Anything that puts out a fire without causing any damage or harm to life is fine by me.
I can't see any insurer objecting either if it does the job.
The advice from the fire service is don't attempt to extinguish a fire just use an extinguisher to facilitate your escape.
The ins co wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

None of the x hundred sites we’ve been to have asked what type of fire extinguisher we have in the MH. Or even asked if we have one at all.
I’d consider having this one in the kitchen at home; we have a fire blanket beside the cooker in the MH as the extinguisher that came with the MH is clipped in at the other end of the vehicle.

I'm VERY cynical when it comes to insurers, they ONLY have their own interests at heart, and ANY excuse for denying a claim is good enough for them!
I am with you 100% on insurers Monty, but if you have successfully put out the fire without causing additional damage, would they really be that bothered how you did it?
the only time i would even think of using any type of extinguisher would be say i was on a boat and unable to get back onto dry land, so the sea really, any other type of fire i would be making my escape and making sure the area was clear, leaving it to the fire lads, and that is from someone who is married to an ex fireman! he would tell anyone to do the same of get out of there and stay away no heroics

When I was a train driver we had extinguishers in the cab and were properly trained in how to use them, but we were always told only to tackle a very small fire and only then if we were completely confident that we could put it out. Any doubt at all, just get everyone as far away as possible and leave it to the professionals.

I had a look at some reviews.
The majority appear to be along the lines of:
“5 stars out of five - got it yesterday, haven’t used it, it fits nicely in the glove box….”
Not frightfully useful as reviews
hardly surprising tho in reality, you dont come across fires in caravans or mh or tents all that often, hence why the ones fitted tend to go out of date without most realising
