Just arrived at a CL near Dorchester on Thames and we have a great Sky signal, but hardly any channels. OH is moaning, any ideas please?

Retune the tv? Have to do that with our old MH tv when we borrow a site’s freesat tv box. Few channels, retune, lots of channels.
(Caveat. We don’t have Sky so I’m probably talking nonsense.)

If the Sky box was switched on when connecting the cables there is a possibility that the LNB was shorted out. LNB will normally outlast the Sky box. Be careful this next time and only connect if box is switched off however I am sure that he is aware of this.

IGNORE all the other technical definitions, designed to confuse ordinary people

LNB means Little Nobbly Bit (at the end of the sticky out stick on the dish)
