Can anyone please advise me of the best way to clean the inside of my 1 litre Coleman Stainless Steel Flask . I got it from a charity shop and I have cleaned it several times using different ingredients , but I can still see little bits in side it !! Any suggestions will be gratefully received .The Coleman website ( In USA ) is useless !!
i usually just but a drop of bleach in it, then give it a whizz around with a bottle brush and then fill with just boiled water pop the top on and leave for an hour and then a really good rinse out.
i guess if you have some puriclen from doing caravan water pipes that could be used too or even milton.
but if your seeing little bits could it be scale? if so just use a kettle descaler
Lemon juice...
you can do the plastic lemon full of juice thingy, pour all in, keep giving a good shake, leave overnight. rinse thoroughly next day. Or squeeze a few lemons for the juice.
Some might say white vinegar, however never tried myself. 🤫
Use baking beads, copper beads or dry pulses like chickpeas with a small amount of liquid like lemon juice/diluted washing up liquid, and shake.

Couple of Steradent tablets does the trick 👍
Agreed. Supermarkets own versions are cheaper & equally good. Overnight soak at least, 24 hours even better. Rinse out thoroughly.
I don’t fancy using bleach because our tap water smells of chlorine so we have to filter it. The smell lingers.
