OH tells me that there are now 2 different fittings and it is hard to find the type we need. Is it just a matter of fitting a different pigtail, if so, which one? Also I have just read that flogas can also be used, is this correct?

Flogas is a clip on fitting whereas Calor is a screw fitting so not compatible unfortunately. If you do change to flogas you will need a the appropriate pigtail to accommodate. That's what I did because I was struggling to get hold of Calorlite so I changed over to Flogas lightweight gas bottles which are the same gas cylinders as BP Gaslight.
The only two different fittings that I'm aware of regarding Calor is Calor Propane and Calor Butane as they are opposite male and female fittings.

Calor butane (blue) clip on, propane(red) screw in with so you need a different pigtail.

I use Flowgas gaslight as well.
You'll need an adaptor to suit like this one HERE that's assuming you have a modern caravan with a bulkhead regulator fitted to the bulhead in your gas locker.
