I saw a few clear top bags for camping gear on a few australian youtube videos and I thought they were a good idea. they would pack better than hard plastic boxes.
They also don't ship to the UK. Also silly money for what they are.

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I prefer Really Useful Boxes to floppy soft bags as they are easier to stack and protective to their contents.
Imagine a loaf of bread being packed in one of these, for someone to put something heavy on top!

Not a great fan of lots of bags with loose strappy handles, always find them snagging and/or getting tucked somewhere inaccessible until you've struggled and bodily dragged the bag out at which point the handle is redundant anyway! If I must have bags much prefer them where the strappy handles Velcro/Press stud together so they always remain on top and easy to find/grab with one hand.
For general storage I go for hard tote boxes which stack and protect the contents from crushing, there's always soft squidgy stuff that can be crammed into any gaps that boxes leave.
If you must go for bags, why not cheap Cooler Bags, only a few pounds, padded to protect contents better, OK so no clear lids to see contents, but is that such a hardship. You could fill your boot with cheap Cooler Bags for the price of ONE of those overpriced Ozzie bags.

up untill now i have been using these for most of my gear
but over this weekend I repacked most of it into really useful boxes
We take a duvet and full size pillows, which compress easily into a Really Useful Box...much quicker and easier than the vacuum compression bags we previously used.
