Hi all! I've recently upgraded from a bucket with a toilet seat to a proper camping toilet. It's quite low though, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to raise it up a bit, besides putting it on a box? I saw a design for a diy 'plinth' made out of plywood, but the site wouldn't let me download the plan. I'm wary of just sitting it on a stool or box in case of it sliding off while it's being used. In days gone by, when even I was (fairly) young and we had a trailer tent, I made a little stool for our portable toilet. Never experienced any problems with it sliding off.
However, if you have a plan on the computer screen, could you not just take a screen shot?
Hi Ancient Uncle...I managed to get the pics, but no plan. Looks fairly straightforward but I'm wary of doing it myself! I might enlist my nephews, they've done woodwork and tech design at school.
That would make a neat wee table for sitting outside (not on the loo, mind) with a glass or mug. Packs away flat, ideal. Let us know how you get on making it!
What a great stand for a beer fridge, which you could also keep an odd bottle of wine in.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
