I have always found the grills on camping stoves to be fairly useless, particularly for toast. The best way of toasting is to use a single slice flat folding toaster, they are quick and efficient unlike the pyramid type folding toasters,

I have one of these, perfectly good stove, I Like the ignition feature, v quick to unfold / pack away.

But I never use the grill. Useless!
