Hi There,

We are looking at buying a mains hookup for our tent and just dont know where to start.  It seems that you can buy for as cheap as £10.99 on ebay right up to £100.  Ones with RCD ones without??

Basically, what does it all mean?  Do sites have requirements that these leads must meet? Can anyone recommend a good one thats not really expensive?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Si.

You`re looking at £50-70 for a decent quality EHU with RCD. That will give you three sockets normally, and peace of mind. No electrical equipment is totally safe of course, even in the home, but it`s worth paying for as much safety as money can buy when you`ve got electrics in a damp tent in a rainy field, no?
