We have been lucky enough to pick up the Intex Inflatable Sofa from Tesco (at a bargain £33!). However, the box is pretty big and it's already a squeeze to fit everything in the car. Would it be a bad idea to store it in a vacuum bag instead?
We're planning on using vacuum bags for our clothes, bedding, pillows, etc. but worry about damaging the inflatable sofa. Any experiences/advice would be greatly appreciated!
just make sure that when you deflate it, you use the pump to suck ALL the air out, i do this at home with a few different items and i get them back into the box, use the vaccume bag for your tent, you will be surprised just how much extra room you have then, but remove the poles and pegs from the tent first
I've use a small electrical pump to try and remove all the air, but there still feels like there's some in there no matter how much I try so wondering if the vacuum bag would do a better job.
you are best using the double action hand pump set onto deflate, you would already be taking that with you for your air beds so not taking up more space
