we have the handi rack & roof bag, there great both fold up into their own little bags & take hardly any space when not in use, i think the handi rack is actually on ukcs somewhere!   the handi rack is so easy to use just blows up & bag just loops through the D rings simples! the bag itself is really big i think its 360lt but very heavy duty, we got ours direct from handi rack when they came out last spring. Good bit of kit

Hi,

thought I'd resurrect this thread as I'm interested in a Carnopy Roof Bag as they say they'll attach to Roof Rails without needing to buy Roof Bars.

My concern is how secure this might be!!!
Any ideas?

Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve,

I have a Carnopy Roofbag but I can't see how it would fit onto roof rails. The fixings are designed for roof bars - unless I'm missing something very obvious!

That said, I've found the Carnopy to be excellent so far. Good capacity (I chose the Large bag) and no ingress of any rain. Love the fact that it breaks down into a small package for storage - usefull on site too as I can put it in the car boot where it takes up hardly any space.

You can see the Carnopy instructions here

we bought one a couple of years ago in tesco, reduced from £30 to £15, but haven't used it yet!

its seems to be very sturdy, consists of a large bag and then a canvas cover, so i think it should be waterproof.
