Is it me, or is there a much more limited choice of camping kitchens this year?
Looking for a lightweight, compact kitchen (does such a thing even exist nowadays?) for when we do tent camping without towing a trailer. Has anyone got any recommendations or seen any bargains?
No personal experience of it but these people make a modular table/accessories range which might let you build your own.
(We have one of their chairs which we're very happy with.)
I bought the Hi-Gear Elite kitchen stand. It’s pretty basic but suits what we need it for which is usually just a couple of nights at a time. Folds up small enough to go in the back of my Juke along with all the other equipment and is easy enough to set up. Seems to have gone up quite a bit in price since last year but Amazon have it at about £46. It’s decent enough but not cupboards or screen.

Funny you should mention that as I was thinking of the Easycamp Beauvais we had for years (like the left side of your unit). The equivalent is now the Outwell Crete and the price is ridiculous.
My camp kitchen was heavy and awkward to pack so I started using a camping table instead. The table is lighter and folds flat making it easy to pack on the floor of the boot.
To be honest, I hate assembling a kitchen, filling it up, then taking everything that's left when we move and bagging it up, only to repeat the process at the next site.
We've now bought some 9l Really Useful Boxes to carry food basics, toiletries etc, the plan now is just to take them out of the car, remove the lids and stow straight into a camping kitchen of some sort. Then on a move, just remove the boxes instead of individual items. Hopefully it will keep things more organised too.
