Advice please. I want to buy a camping stove that has 2 gas rings and a grill. I can’t find one where the reviews are consistently good. Most seem to fall down on the performance of the grill. Can anyone recommend one with a good grill? Thanks

I have had several gas stoves over the years but have yet to find one with a decent grill. If it is for toast then I would recommend a flat folding toaster (not the pyramid type).

I use a Campingaz Xcelerate double burner which I think is possibly the best double burner stove at the moment.
I use it on Calor Gas propane in the smallest red cylinder which they have now discontinued, so I'm not sure what to do next.

I have my brother's old Campingaz double burner with grill, it's big and clunky, I've yet to test it or take it out of the loft.

It is on a cold morning that you will most want toast, if you are using butane (Campingaz blue) that is the time you'll only get a small flame that won't grill anything.

Buy frozen Asian flat breads (they'll keep for 3 days in a cool box) and cook them with a dash of oil in a frying pan for fresh camp bread.

If you have eggs, milk and flour you can make pancakes and call them crepes. You'll need a hot stove for this.
If you buy pancake mix it will say just add eggs and milk, the only other ingredient is flour.

Even grills in caravan ovens are crap. So you have no chance with a portable outfit.

Almost everything you can grill can be pan fried. Put sliced bread in a ridgemonkey for a toast like effect. Or as mentioned above, one of the flat toast makers over the flame.
