I have a Kampa Gale inflator pump but the 12v male plug end screw connection somehow came loose which the spring and fuse have unfortunately been lost. I've got a new male plug on order but the inline fuse maybe the incorrect rating so it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could advise as to what the correct fuse rating is for the appliance please?
My guess is that it would be either a 2 or a 5 amp fuse rating but for detailed reference, on the rear of the Kampa Gale inflator pump it states the following 'Input: DC 12V / 110 watts'.

NO, it's not a lowly 2 or 5A fuse, it's a 10A fuse, this is a power hungry pump! Clue in the 110W rating (110W/12V = 9.2A). I've measured mine and it certainly draws a good 9A!

Just looked at mine and dismantled plug, full spec of original fuse: 32 x 6.3mm (1 1/4 x 1/4 inch) SLOW BLOW Glass Fuse, 10A at 240v rated. Important any replacement fuse is SLOW BLOW, as there will be a power surge at start up that will likely instantly blow ordinary or Quick blow fuses!

Hope your new plug is up to the power demand, many 'cigarette' lighter plugs are really only capable of up to a 6 or 8A load. They overheat and melt on higher demands!

If swapping the plug completely, observe cable polarity (NO obvious polarity markings on cable!!! - take heed of original plug connections!), there are electronics in the pump that may well not survive reverse polarity and it will mean forking out for a new pump!

Worth making a note of the fuse type in the manual for future use, as Kampa seemed too negligent to state it in the Spec!

The 12v plug I have ordered is a good quality one, identical to the one attached to the cable with the Kampa Gale pump and actually comes with a 10 amp fuse. I thought I may have to exchange it for a lower rating fuse but apparently not after reading your reply. I will order some SLOW BLOW 10 amp fuses now as spares just in case i ever have to replace one at any time.
Many thanks for your reply Monty15 it has been much appreciated.
