Typically the 330-360 figures are the width in cm. The depth varies from model to model and brand to brand to some extent, but is likely to be around 2.4-2.5m deep. Check the specifications for any awning you have an interest in to get exact measurements.

Swings and roundabouts on pole or air! Both have advantages and disadvantages! But what is VERY relevant especially if you have lifting restrictions is that air awnings are 'all in one' so the package (as in unit and holdall weight) cannot be split like a poled awning where poles and flysheet can be split and handled separately, consequently air awnings can be very heavy to manhandle both packed in the holdall and in trying to erect, especially so with a large 3.6m awning.

I'd suggest you take a look at the Sunncamp Swift range, which with their single pole/airbeam design are probably as lightweight an awning as you will find, although slightly smaller than your original size choice. I've got a poled Sunncamp SC 260 Swift that weighs 6.8Kg, whereas my Kampa/Dometic Rally Pro 330 Airbeam weighs 20Kg!

When looking at awnings, always worth bearing in mind the packed holdall weight and size for both your ability to carry and your space and weight restriction in either tow car or caravan to transport.

Thank you for that I will definitely look into the sun camp SC as the overall weight is a major issue. Thanks again.
