I do mainly off grid caravanning and wonder if someone could give me some ideas about the Power packs that I see advertised I have a Solar panel fitted with a 100a MPPT controller and would one of these Power gadgets be helpful for powering a small ac kettle or toaster
------------- Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow
yes they would power a small kettle.. not for that long though and you will still need some means of charging the power bank if away from the mains for any length of time..
If its the former you may have to change the connectors from the controller to fit the power pack if the power pack manufacturer has used their own proprietary fittings

Are you sure it's 100amp? That's one hell of an MPPT solar charger
Out of interest how many solar panels are you using with that? It's worth pointing out, if you don't already know, that there are two main figures with solar chargers. One is the voltage limit and the other the amperage so say a Victron 100/30 is 100 volt limit with a 30amp limit.
