I know these have been discussed before but I’ve searched and can’t find answers to my questions. As it is just my OH, the dogs and I who go away in the caravan now, I’m thinking about getting an air fryer. I think it would give us more options for food. Having the girls with us, we sometimes struggle ( esp. in UK) to find anywhere we can eat out easily. We BBQ a lot when in France but we have the weather for it then. I don’t have a fryer at home.
Should I get a small 2 compartment fryer or just a single? I intend to practise using it at home too.
Any thoughts and or recipes gratefully received. Recommendations for fryers also welcome!

I've got a Instant Vortex Plus VersaZone Air Fryer at home, it's versatile as has a single large basket, but with a removable divider and two cooking zones, so best of both worlds, cook large like a 10" pizza or even a chicken, or two smaller items at different temps and times, downside is it's far too big for limited kitchen worktop space in caravan! Love it, and has all but replaced my cooker oven.
As far as an air fryer in caravan goes, you need to be careful of the power consumption, some can be up to 2.4kW, which is the maximum that a caravan mains socket can supply (10A circuit breaker on supply panel!), and requires a MINIMUM of 10A EHU! Many are around 1.5 - 1.7kW, so still too powerful for the common 6A continental EHU, but generally OK in UK!
We have a 2 compartment air fryer for home but a smaller single one for in the van.
The 2 compartment is bigger, offers more versatility and is our preferred option, but would take up far too much space in the van, both storage wise and when in use.
When using the smaller caravan air fryer, we tend to cook the first thing and keep it warm in the oven while we cook the next thing.
We use the air fryer in the UK and France, but always with at least 10amp electricity and not at the same time as eg the microwave, kettle etc.
It's a Tower brand and cost about £35, but I think they're all much of a muchness for a basic air-fryer in that price range.
We have the Ninja Air Fryer MAX AF160UK that we use in our caravan and also at home. No issues on a 10amp site as long as you do not use the kettle at the same time. It uses about 7amp at maximum setting.
I have a 1.5L Tower airfryer at home and use it regularly instead of the combi microwave or the main oven, a good size for just one person.
However, the basket is a bit small for certain food such as a confit duck leg or a whole chicken.
If I were to replace it, I would consider the vertical 2-drawer one by Ninja as it would take up less counter space, and allows 4 different foods to be cooked at the same time.
At nearly 2.5kW it is too powerful to be used at campsites with less than 16A EHU supply though.
Whatever you get, I would advise using liners to make washing up easier.
