Hi I have been offered a drive away air awning, however it is too small (height) for our campervan. Will it matter if the legs on the tunnel don't reach the ground? Our campervan is 2.8m high, think this is only 2.2m. We only intend to use the main area for extra sleeping
Welcome to UKCS.
I’d have thought that just the legs closest to your van will be off the ground. Might make it more draughty inside. Further away, the tunnel roof will crease & the legs should reach the ground. People with actual experience will correct me. And (I could be wrong), the height of your door opening might be the important height rather than the height of the roof.
Ask to borrow it: try it at home or on a nearby site, in case it doesn’t work as you want it to. It’s a generous offer.
