First comment on full size airbeam awnings - WEIGHT!!!!!!
Are you able to carry/manhandle a holdall weighing up to 40Kg (88lbs, 4.25 St)!! Not many people can, so a two person job just to move it when packed, and to be honest, many would struggle with 20Kg each!
Don't overlook payload impact if transporting in caravan, for my van that's over 1/3 of it's total payload!
One common criticism of ALL airbeam awnings is the weight of the all in one construction when trying to thread into the caravan rail (depending on construction, you may or may not be able to zip out panels to lighten the load, but if so, that adds to erection/striking time!) .
2nd comment - BULK!!!!
Check you can accommodate the physical size of the holdall! My much smaller Kampa porch awning only just fits through the door of my caravan/or takes a LOT of car boot space!
You need to take a careful look beyond just the benefits/desirability of the erected awning, and think about all aspects of owning one! On that subject, have you got somewhere (at home?) to dry it when soaking wet at the end of your stay. They have to be perfectly dry before storage packed in their holdall. I find my Kampa 3.3m porch awning a struggle to deal with, they take an enormous amount of space when laid out flat, and you generally cant erect them without attaching to a van!
