Hi, we have recently purchased a vango Air beam tent and we also have the Tempest rechargeable pump, which unfortunately is pretty poor,as we have other inflatable items too i was wondering if there is an 240v pump option that would cover all items obviously with the ability to use the vango inflation adapter for the tent. ?

From my experience, these things come with a hand pump with a pressure cutoff valve. Personally, I wouldn't use an electric pump with them unless I knew the exact PSI setting they are supposed to be pumped to and had a pre-determined PSI limit.

We have an Outdoor Revolution side awning for the van which has what can only be described a a pretty cheap hand pump (the type you put both feet on and pump from above) which has a limit to the amount of air we can put in to the air beams themselves. It's easy enough and doesn't take long. Nothing worse than blowing up those all important air beams which is obviously going to ruin your camping experience.

I have an Outdoor Master Shark pump that runs of 12V car lighter socket.
Its a two stage pump for paddle boards and puts of Vango tent up very quickly

No need for 240v as voltage will be reduced to supply the correct current for the compressor. Both 240v and 12v pumps are rated at 100-150w.

As airbeams only need 8-10 psi a 12v tyre inflator which can usually inflate up to at least 75psi will be more than adequate,

I have a 12v Ring model which is used for car tyres, rugby balls (9 psi), airbeds, dinghies and never had a problem.
