Mmmm not sure about my recommendation now….the product still looks good but the supplier is looking less good.
I placed the order on Wednesday night, they called me on Thursday morning as apparently they have new software and the credit card details don’t go across to them properly.I insisted on ringing them back on the number from the web site (had a friend who was scammed for credit card details in a similar way) – it was them and was all legit.
The web site advertised free next day delivery for the item so I expected to receive it on Friday. It still didn't arrive over the weekend. My partner spent most of this morning trying to ring them (they have phone problems according to BT).He finally got through and it turns out they don’t have any of these in stock, they have already debited my credit card and haven’t bothered to tell me that they don’t have one (although don’t forget they phoned me on Thursday).
I’ve now spent another half an hour trying to find another supplier who has one in stock and can delivery tomorrow as I really need this thing for Wednesday and it’s cost me an extra ten quid to pay for next day delivery!!!
I removed the gas fitting and just use it with charcoal...........absolutely great! Has a nice deep lid so can cook jacket spuds on it (wrap in tin foil and then put the lid on and use it like an oven) ......FAB!
Just go pick one up from your local store

we're after one of those barrel shaped ones that divide in half and you can use both sides, think they're about £20, some places are selling those kettle drum ones at a fairly small size for about £10.
We have one of this type...Got it from Wollies for £9.99..They work really well..!
The Weber go anywhere is fantastic! The Calor Centre in Southampton (no it's still not a gas bbq!) were great, they shipped one to us the same day and averted the crisis caused by the other supplier.
We used the Weber last weekend, there were between four and seven of us and it was big enough to cater for all of us easily. I had been a bit worried that it didn't look very big but it is perfectly big enough for a group. As someone said earlier it gives you a huge amount of control when cooking and the food that came off of it was wonderful
Ok it's not cheap but as with many things you get what you pay for - this looks like it's gonna last for ever.
The group of guys just down the campsite had one the same - we have learnt from them that two bags of self lighting charcoal is way too much for this BBQ and puts your gazebo at risk!
I agree, have just got the WEBER Smokey Joe for the van......it is superb. If you dont want to splash out on a weber then make sure the one you get has lid than can be closed during cooking.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
