On average how long will a 7Kg Butane cylinder last then? I was going to buy the 4.5Kg but the guy in the local camping store told me it would barely last two weeks with my double burner stove. Anyway there was less than £2 difference between them. On another thread someone said the smaller one would last years.
Not realy sure tbh we have had several weekends( a lot more than 2 weeks in all ) use out of our 4.5 and its still going strong and I do a LOT of cooking from scratch !
We have one of the small ones and it lasted us two weeks in summer and random trips since and we still have it. I suppose it depends on how often you are going to use it and how long you are going away for.
we have a small calor gas bottle which wasnt full, we ran the fridge for two weeks and did all the cooking washing up and getting a wash ourselves with it and it still lasted for a couple of weekends after that,
