i use a slow cooker at home all the time in the winter, never thought of taking it camping, good idea

Use it all the time in the camper.
INSTRUCTIONS
1Throw in all ingredients in the morning.
2 Switch it on.
3. Go to the beach.
4. Return at approximately 5p.m.
5. Dish food onto plates and eat!!

yes we have and the electric frying pan/slow cooker.------------- Good friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget.

I use ours all the time - great to be able to throw everything in in the morning and its ready when you get back from an outing.

Not in a tent but have used mine in the motorhome & in the folding camper. Works brill with cook in sauces. I've even used it when not on EHU, running it via an inverter, but it does flatten the battery if left on for a long time.
You don't smell it if you're out & about enjoying the fresh air.
